Collective Bargaining, Benefits & Salary Schedule

SALARY SCHEDULE
The salary schedule is based on training and experience. For the 2009-10 school year, the schedule ranges from:

BA Degree - $40,060 - $74,419 (BA + 105 graduate credit hours)
MA Degree - $44,489 - $75,266 (MA + 45 graduate credit hours)

TEACHERS BENEFITS FOR 2009-2010
The David Douglas School District provides the following, subject to the terms of the collective bargaining agreement:

  • $10,000 life insurance policy

LICENSED POSITIONS

Teaching vacancies are first advertised to probationary and permanent District staff. Teaching vacancies open to external applicants will appear on the District website, EdZapp, and if necessary, placement services and newspapers. These postings are updated weekly or when new vacancies occur.
