Oregon State Report Cards
Each year, the Oregon Department of Education produces report cards for all schools and school districts. These report cards were mandated by the 1999 state legislature and provide educators with an opportunity to communicate with our community about how our schools are performing.
Based on factors such as participation rates, test scores and year-to-year improvement, schools are rated one of three categories: Outstanding, Satisfactory or Needs Improvement. You can now view the State Report Cards for David Douglas schools based on the 2011-12 school year.
This is the final year that Oregon will release annual report cards in this format. The state of Oregon has received a waiver from the federal No Child Left Behind law. Schools in Oregon are now required to develop Achievement Compacts with specific, measurable goals for academic achievement. New report cards are being designed based on those Achievement Compacts.
