Program Overview

The Scots Angel program at David Douglas High School raises money for kids and families in medical crisis. The club has raised over $120,000 over the past 14 years with the fundraising efforts of the DDHS student body and the entire David Douglas Community. The program also partners up with businesses like DHL Global Forwarding to help support our angel and their family.

100% of the proceeds raised go directly to the families involved.

Meet This Year’s Angel

This year’s Scots’ Angel is a 6-year-old named Sami Abdallah. Sami is a kind, bright, generous young man. He has been battling T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma cancer since November of 2020.  Sami is currently receiving treatment through Doernbechers Children’s Hospital in Portland. His final treatment will be in 2023.

Please help us alleviate some of the financial burden on this family. One hundred percent of every dollar raised through the Scots Angels program goes to them.
