The David Douglas School District will hold a public meeting (to be available to watch live online here) to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 on the following dates:

May 2, 2022

Budget Committee Meeting/Testimony received. The purpose of this meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. Any person may appear and ask questions about and comment on the budget document at this meeting. Public comment will also be taken in written and phone format; each format will be limited to three minutes per member of the public. Written comments should be submitted by email to richard_contreras@ddsd40.org by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022; written comments will be read during the public comment section of the meeting. Alternatively, comments by phone will be taken on a scheduled basis during the public comment section of the meeting. To schedule public comments by phone, please contact the Business Office by phone at (503) 261-8212 or by email at richard_contreras@ddsd40.org by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Meetings may conclude on May 2, 2022 if the Budget Committee takes action to approve the 2022-23 Proposed Budget.

May 5 & 9, 2022

All meetings will be held in the Board Room at 6:30 p.m. at David Douglas School District, 1500 SE 130th Avenue, Portland, OR 97233 and will also be available to watch live online at https://www.youtube.com/user/DavidDouglasSD/live. A copy of the 2022-23 Proposed Budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 22, 2022 at the David Douglas School District Business Office at 11300 NE Halsey Street, Portland, OR 97220 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM or online at http://www.ddouglas.k12.or.us (at the Home page select District, then Business Operations, then Financials). This notice is being posted at this website Pursuant to ORS 294.426(5).
