Kindergarten 2022-23

Kindergarten registration is open for children who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2022. If your child isn’t registered yet, we encourage families to register as soon as possible.

Registering early gives incoming kindergarteners and their families the chance to get to know their teacher, become familiar with their school and learn the next steps in beginning kindergarten. Early registration is also extremely helpful because it gives teachers and school staff time over the summer to prepare the classroom for your child.

Who Can Register for Kindergarten 2022-23

Your child is eligible to start kindergarten this fall if:

• They live within David Douglas School District boundaries
  • If you are unsure which DDSD school your home address is affiliated with, you can identify your neighborhood school here or call 503-256-6526.
• Will be five years old by September 1
