In 2021, we held virtual meetings and surveys for our families to provide input on our Language Arts curriculum for K-12 students. The curriculum is the materials, textbooks, and digital platforms that our students interact with daily and that serve to support teacher instruction.
The feedback and input we received were an invaluable part of the curriculum selection process. We are now in our second year of implementation of:
- Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Into Reading at Grades K-5, as well as Enhanced Core Reading Instruction (ECRI) at Grades K-2
- At middle school, we have McGraw Hill StudySync
- At both the David Douglas and Fir Ridge High School campuses, we use the Odell Open Up High School Literacy Program
Your first stop for learning more about your student’s learning and progress, as well as curriculum, is always your student’s teacher. They will have the most relevant and up-to-date information for you!
