Community Partners

Irco staff preparing a food pantry pick up site under playground covered space

Our District, students, and families receive a tremendous amount of support from around our community.

Contributions from our local partners come in many forms – donations, after-school programs, counseling, adult classes, health services, and more! Thank you, community partners, for your time, dedication and support! You are such a positive impact on our students and community.

Getting Started

If you have never partnered with our school District, completing the Community Based Agency Inquiry Form below is the first step. Once you submit your form, you will be contacted by the Family & Community Partnerships Coordinator.

Annual Partnership Process

DDSD wants to connect with all community partners at the district level. Our goal is to improve communication, align and uplift our Community School model, and adhere to the Oregon Department of Education Policies/Laws.

Who is subject to the annual partnership process?

All current site-based providers of DDSD.

Partners and contractors are individuals affiliated with a partner agency or organization that will be entering our schools or interacting with our students and families to provide services during the current school year and/or summer. The partner agency or organization must have a current contract or agreement.

All partners must complete the Partner Clearance Packet and receive confirmation from DDSD HR before providing services in our schools.

Who is not subject to the annual partnership process?

Volunteers and Visitors

Volunteers are individuals that are associated with DDSD, such as a parent, guardian, family member, or neighbor. Volunteers are intermittent helpers. Examples of volunteer opportunities include classroom help, field trips, picture day, etc.

  • Please visit the Families page to learn more about the volunteer procedure.

Visitors are guests of the building. Visitors are individuals who are associated with DDSD, as a parent, guardian, family member, or neighbor but have not completed the volunteer process.
