Community Sports & Recreation
Fall Community Sports Cancelled

As per Governor Brown’s declaration guidelines, all Community Sports and Recreation have been cancelled for the fall. We will update further as communication becomes available.
Physicals Insurance Coverage
All 6th, 7th, & 8th grade players MUST have current physicals on file at school
Free physicals are available at Multnomah County’s Student Health Centers. One is located at the David Douglas High School North Campus (behind the aquatics). For more information please visit the Student Health Centers website.
All players must have insurance. The David Douglas School District carries no athletic insurance for Community Sports and/or Recreation programs and does not assume responsibility for injuries sustained in practice or games. If insurance coverage for injuries is desired, such insurance coverage is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
Volunteer Coaching
Volunteer coaches are a valuable and appreciated part of the Community Sports and Recreation program. Let us know if you are interested in coaching (head or assistant coach). One volunteer head coach per team can have their child’s registration fee waived. To coach, all volunteers must clear a background check and complete the SafeSchools training program online. For more information, please contact your school secretary.
