Insurance Coverage Required

All students are required by the State of Oregon to have health insurance in order to participate in athletics. David Douglas School District insurance does not cover student injuries due to accidents at school or during school-sponsored activities. Students who cannot show proof of accident or health coverage may purchase insurance from Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Co, a third party insurance company.

Middle School Sports Physicals

All 6th, 7th, 8th graders must have a current sports physical on file with the school to be eligible for tryouts and participation. Students can receive a free sports physical at a Multnomah Student Health Center. There is a David Douglas clinic location in the same parking lot as the DD Aquatics Center (the clinic is behind the Aquatics Center building).
