What is an interesting part of your job that people might not know?  

I have been with the  D.D.S.D.  on and off since 1994, the interesting part of my job is that sometimes I am the food service truck driver and I deliver food, produce and bakery items to the elementary middle school and high schools, I also help with catering for the district.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is that I get off early and still have time to enjoy the weather, if i’ts nice out!

How does your job impact students?

My job impacts students by helping them learn job skills, and were also willing to give the students job references.
Where else have you worked in the  district?
I have worked at all grade levels, before coming to Fir Ridge, I was also  at the North High School kitchen.

David Douglas School District Drug Testing and Criminal Background Check Per district policy all offers of employment shall be contingent upon the successful passing of a district required drug test and criminal background check. David Douglas School District’s Human Resources will designate where and when the testing will be conducted. The offer of employment will be withdrawn from candidates who test positive for drugs.

EMS is the company that our District uses for  licensed (and MECP classified only) employee’s substitute and absence reporting system can be accessed via phone or the web at: 503-616-2025, while their website can be found at http://www.emssubdesk.com/home.html.  All licensed staff should have received a welcome email from EMS with your personal User ID and Pin. You are required to follow the instructions and phone in to activate your account and reset your password BEFORE you can use the system.
