LICENSED POSITIONS FOR EXTERNAL APPLICANTS

Thank you for your interest in the David Douglas School District. Teaching vacancies are first advertised to probationary and permanent District staff. Teaching vacancies open to external applicants will appear on the District website, TalentEd Recruit & Hire, and if necessary, placement services and newspapers. These postings are updated when new vacancies occur.

The David Douglas School District no longer accepts hard copy applications. Instead, we utilize the TalentEd Recruit & Hire website for all Licensed applications. The District will maintain and review a bank of applications that it receives through this website.

To be considered for a position, applicants must apply on the TalentEd Recruit & Hire website at https://daviddouglas.schoolrecruiter.net. Applicants must submit a completed application including the applicant’s Cover Letter, current Resume, and three (3) Letters of Recommendation. (Type or cut and paste your cover letter in the text box.  Please do not attach).  The Resume and Letters of Recommendation may be attached/uploaded.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications will be accepted until 4:00pm on the date of closing.

Following the job closing date, District officials will review applicant materials and contact those who will be given further consideration. The District may request additional materials if the applicant is a viable candidate for an open position.

After a candidate is selected, he or she is recommended for employment to the Human Resources department for final approval. Human Resources will review all materials and contact the administrator with the final decision on the candidate’s employment.

The District will not accept unsolicited application materials for non-posted positions. PLEASE DO NOT SEND TRANSCRIPTS OR LICENSE.
