DDSD Supplemental Learning Activities

Below are Grade Level Supplemental Learning Activities developed by DDSD teachers to support the Learning and Supplemental Activities component of Distance Learning. Your child’s teacher may reference these activities or develop new activities that are aligned to the Teacher-Led Learning for their classroom.

We are sharing this resource with our communities so families can support their children with continued learning during the summer.

Click on the tab for your student’s grade level. Then click the link to open the activities packet file. You can view the packet online, download it to your computer or print it. Soon the packets will also be available at our four food distribution sites.

Comcast announced ways they are helping people stay connected to the internet during the coronavirus outbreak

Internet Essentials Program – 2 months Free

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, Comcast is offering 2 months free to new Internet Essentials customers in response to measures associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Recognizing the critical role the internet plays in accessing information, enabling work from home and home-based learning, Comcast announced a number changes to their Internet Essentials program to support low-income households during the COVID-19 pandemic. Free Xfinity Wifi Hotspots

Xfinity is offering free WiFi for everyone, including non-Xfinity subscribers. To locate WiFi hotspots in your area, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi.

Access Multnomah County Library’s electronic resources from home with a library card. Visit their website to sign up for a free library card. Please note libraries are closed at this time.
