Constitution Day

Monday, Sept. 17 is Constitution Day and Citizenships Day, the day we as a nation celebrate the 1787 signing of the U.S. Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens.

The present day holiday was established in 2004 by Congress, but recognizing Constitution Day dates back to 1911, when schools in Iowa officially celebrated the date.

Our School Board has adopted a proclamation celebrating Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, which you can read at the below link.
