TranslateJoin us for our Intercambio series this summer
All are welcome at Intercambio, a cultural and language exchange program that encourages community members to develop relationships and foster communication with diverse groups of people in our community. The series is hosted by the District’s Multilingual Programs and Equity Department. The sessions will be facilitated by two bilingual Spanish and English speakers and takes place in an informal setting.
Intercambio is a language exchange program where Spanish and English speakers come together in an informal setting to encourage conversation through activities and socializing. A few activities the summer program will include are Loteria, building Spanish and English sentences, fun icebreakers, and a celebratory pot-luck on the last day.
Summer Intercambio runs the weeks of July 12th – August 8th
- Ventura Park Elementary: Tuesdays 5-6 pm
- Lincoln Park Elementary: Wednesdays 5-6 pm
- Gilbert Park Elementary: Thursdays 5-6 pm
