Notice of Public Hearing Title VI – Formula Grant Through the Office of Indian Education

The David Douglas School District will host a public hearing regarding our application for the Indian Education Formula Grant Program (Title VI). This program is designed to address the unique cultural, language, and educationally related academic needs of American Indian and Alaska Native students, including preschool children, and ensure that all students meet the challenging State academic standards. 

What: Formula Grant/Title VI Public Hearing
When: Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 7:30pm
Where: The meeting will be live streamed to the public through this link 

The informative hearing will be held in conjunction with the Board’s April meeting and will provide an opportunity for the public, including parents and students, to become more familiar with the Title VI program. We will invite input about our students’ needs and our proposed objectives.
