Our Native American students from grades Kindergarten to 12th grade were invited to participate in a three part series workshop during the school day.
Students engaged in cultural enrichment activities to increase and celebrate cultural identity and awareness, including:
- Talking circles, hand drum songs, storytelling
- Celebrating, learning, and practicing traditional and contemporary Indigenous arts
- Play traditional games including stickball
A mural unveiling and celebration will be held on May 17th. More details coming soon!
