As the winter season approaches, it is a good time to check in about:

Winter weather procedures:
Here’s a reminder of how we decide on delays or closures:
- Transportation staff assess road conditions across our district early in the morning.
- The Superintendent will make the decision to cancel school or if the weather is expected to improve, we may opt for a 2-hour delay.
- Families will be notified instantly via ParentSquare, with updates on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and local media.

Coming to school every day is important so our students don’t miss out on their learning! However, we know that with the winter season, it is normal for children to get sick from time to time, but when should a parent keep a child home?
Keep your student at home if:
- They have a fever of 100.4 or higher as well as other symptoms such as a rash, sore throat, and vomiting more than once.
- They have diarrhea.
- They have a persistent cough not diagnosed or cleared by a physician.
- They have eye redness and drainage.
