Congratulations to David Douglas High School alumnus, Samruddha Preuitt, on being named a U.S. Presidential Scholar—one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.
Preuitt was selected from among 6,400 candidates nationwide, recognizing his outstanding academic achievement and leadership.
A member of the Class of 2025, Samruddha is now pursuing studies in data science and engineering at college. He credits DDHS teachers Darren Beene (Chemistry) and Andrew Matheny (Math) for their inspiration and support throughout his academic journey.
