District Launches CTE Fundraiser for Students’ Future

News Three students presenting a HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) display with medical models and posters.

Our district is currently raising funds for all 11 Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathways at David Douglas High School. Every contribution helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world career readiness. Our CTE Program provides students with hands-on learning experiences and valuable skills that prepare them for future careers and post-secondary education.

Students in the CTE Program have an impressive 99.4% graduation rate.* This achievement is a powerful reminder that targeted, relevant education directly contributes to student success. (*School Year 2023–2024)

Help us prepare our students for success!

To continue offering a high-quality CTE experience, we are raising funds to invest in state-of-the-art equipment so students can learn using industry-standard tools. DDSD encourages community members to visit the fundraiser page and join the effort to strengthen career-ready education for all students.

We are also actively seeking sponsorships to help us reach our $175,000 goal to ensure our program continues to meet the highest standards.

The district will host a fundraiser event with dinner, dessert, and a sneak peek of the new CTE building on the evening of Friday, January 23. Event details will be available on the fundraiser page. We invite you to check back for updates.
