Welcome to March!
Celebrating Women’s History Month
In honor of Women’s History Month, David Douglas School District is proud to recognize the incredible women who strengthen our schools and community. We celebrate the dedication of our educators, the brilliance of our staff, and the limitless potential of our students. It is a good reminder to pause and reflect on the courage and contributions of the trailblazers who shape our world and within our own David Douglas community.
The district acknowledges the paid and unpaid achievements and contributions made by women to Oregon’s and the United States’ homes, culture, education, politics, arts, literature, science, technological developments, and economy despite institutional and systemic injustices designed to prevent and limit these achievements and contributions. We are committed to and advocate for equal educational, professional, and social opportunities for women and girls.
