Register Your Child
How to enroll your child with David Douglas
David Douglas School District uses Online Registration for enrolling new students into the district. Online Registration is available in English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, and Simplified Chinese. When you get to the Online Registration system, the language options will show in the bottom right corner. Just click on your preferred language, if it is available.
We are currently accepting Online Registrations for the 2023-24 school year.
Online Registration is a much more efficient and more accurate method than filling out lengthy paper forms. Parents can use either their home computer or a computer at one of our schools to complete Online Registration. All new students can be enrolled with one Online Registration, rather than filling out multiple repetitive paper forms. You must live within the David Douglas School District boundary to use Online Registration.
Parents unable to use Online Registration will need to complete the full registration form for each student. Registration forms can be obtained at any neighborhood school, or by clicking the Alternate Registration button below.
You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer to register online. There are laptops available in each school office for your use if needed.
You will need a valid email account for Online Registration. If you don’t have one, you can get a free Gmail account here.
Grades K-8
You may use Online Registration if you live within the David Douglas School District boundary. If you are unable to utilize Online Registration, please visit the elementary (grades K-5) or middle school (grades 6-8) in your attendance area. You will be asked to complete paperwork that includes a release form to allow your student’s previous school to forward his/her records. Please bring proof of residence documents with you (utility bill, property tax statement, home insurance statement, etc.). If a 1st grade student is entering school for the first time, a verification of age and immunization record will also be required (view immunization and medication requirements). Elementary school offices close during summer break. They reopen in late August. For information specific to Kindergarten registration, (click here)

If you have any special documentation related to the child’s school experience, such as an Individualized Education Program or court orders for child custody, please bring them when you visit the school.
