Things to Consider for the Last Open Enrollment Prior to Your Retirement:
  • Make sure you enroll in all coverages you want when you retire. You won’t be able to add enrollment in any coverage as an Early Retiree that you are not currently enrolled in as an Active Employee.
  • Make sure to enroll all eligible dependents you want to cover when you retire. Dependents cannot be enrolled at a later date unless a Qualified Status Change (QSC) occurs that would allow enrollment.
