Building Permit was submitted to City of Portland on 1/19/24.
Bidding process is substantially complete – three main bid packages
Soft mobilization has commenced to demolish buildings (per approved demo permit) and prepare site for anticipated building permit.
BRIC (Design Team) continues to get as much student engagement as possible during the key design milestones.
Pence (General Contractor) has hired short-term interns from DDHS to assist with onsite project administration. Additional student engagement is also under review.

Current Project Status:
Repair/Renovation scopes are ongoing, currently no concerns with finishing scopes of work over the summer schedule.
Initial budgeted work came in under budget however the district had an alternate bid for bleacher replacement. Being that the project came in under budget, the CORE team recommended to the board to replaced, rather than refurbish the bleachers, which they approved. This added scope will be funded through project savings and bleachers scope will be completed summer 2025.
Ongoing Bi-weekly meetings with staff to coordinate, communicate summer construction activities continue.
