Dear Gilbert Park Elementary Families,
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for supporting the 2022 Bond Measure for the David Douglas School District. Your commitment has enabled us to make meaningful improvements to our school, and we are excited to share the progress that has been made.
This past summer, Gilbert Park Elementary was busy with essential renovations to enhance our learning environment. Here are the critical updates:
- Specialist Spaces Remodel: Existing areas have been remodeled to create dedicated spaces for specialists, providing focused support for students.
- Roof Replacement: A portion of the roof has been replaced to enhance the building’s durability and weather protection.
- Fire Alarm System Replacement: A new fire alarm system has been installed to ensure safety and meet current standards.
- Siding Replacement: The siding has been replaced to improve the building’s exterior and ensure long-term resilience.
We are excited about these upgrades and their positive impact on our school’s future. Your continued support has made these improvements possible, and we deeply appreciate it.
