Native American Parent Advisory Committee (NAPAC)

The Native American Parent Advisory Committee (NAPAC) leads and guides the Native Education Project at David Douglas School District (DDSD). The purpose of NAPAC is to set the priorities, goals, and activities involving the Title VI federal grant. Voting members also sign off on our yearly Title VI grant application. DD staff collaborate with NAPAC to support their vision.

NAPAC supports ISU in various ways and provides culturally appropriate enrichment opportunities to our students across preschool through 12th grade.

The current committee consists of 10 parents/guardians/caregivers, 10 native partners, and 6 DDSD staff members.

DD NAPAC is always welcoming new members! In fact, one of our goals is to increase parent involvement. We meet at Fir Ridge once a month with the option to attend virtually (on the phone, tablet, or computer).
